All applicants must be people of 60 years of age or over, who are in need, hardship or distress. They must be able to live independently and be self sufficient, since the Trust is not able to provide medical or nursing care.
We recommend that applicants come and see the accommodation that we have on offer here first. A member of staff will be very happy to show you around the site and allow you to view the homes available. The next step will be to fill in an application form. (see below for downloadable version or you can phone or email for a hard copy). If you complete and send the form into the office your application will be processed. You will then be visited by the Clerk to the Trustees and, if she thinks that you are suitable, you will be offered an interview with two Trustees. If they agree that you are suitable, you will be offered a home appropriate to your needs. Once accepted, you will usually be able to move in at your convenience. Most new residents are able to move into the property within a few weeks of being offered accommodation.
If there is no suitable accommodation available at the time of your application you will be placed on a waiting list.
We also recommend that you read the "Conditions of Occupancy" (downloadable version below) before applying so that you are aware of and are happy with them.
